Pierson was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2014 to 2018. After graduating General Assembly in February of 2019, he joined Black Willow as a junior developer supporting the defense and intelligence communities. Pierson now works at Acuity Inc, supporting the U.S. Department of State as a midlevel developer.
