Phyllis Ellison has been working to grow the St. Louis entrepreneurship community since 2005, creating resources and events to support entrepreneurs. Partnering with entrepreneurs, academic institutions, support organizations, investors, and businesses, she has developed programming and opportunities to connect people including Startup Connection, 1 Million Cups, House of Genius, InvestMidwest and STL Startup Week.
She leads the programming efforts in the 200-acre Cortex Innovation Community as Vice President of Partnerships & Program Development.
While she loves to travel, ski and explore new places, Phyllis is committed to growing the startup community in her hometown of St. Louis.
