Pavan is the founder & principal of Gray Bike, a software studio based in San Francisco, CA. Gray Bike acts as an ad-hoc engineering & design team for startups, small business, and non-profits. They design and build out solutions for various technical challenges, as well as provide ongoing support for organizations as they grow. His past client list includes Macy's & Bloomingdale's, 1-800-Flowers, UNICEF, The Minerva Project, and the Center for Environmental Health. Gray Bike has a strong focus on working with organizations with a positive social and environmental mission.

Prior to founding Gray Bike, Pavan grew a team of 30 people and ran the Macy's & Bloomingdale's mobile website as a Senior Technical Consultant. His technical experience spans many mediums, from building data visualizations for cancer research biotech companies to modifying the Android operating system for use in race cars at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development.

Aside from working and advising clients, Pavan has taught and mentored students learning how to code at Thinkful and General Assembly. He has also volunteered to mentor for underserved middle school students interested in technology, helping them building projects to display at the Maker Faire.

Pavan holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
