Paul specialises in technology (including telecoms and data protection), and advises clients on both non-contentious issues and disputes.
As the youngest partner in Pinsent Masons' Hong Kong office, Paul is head of the TMT practice, and works across Asia spending time in China, Singapore and Japan. He's a regular speaker on technology matters, most recently advising organisations what they should to if they suspect they have been the victim of a data breach, and is often quoted in the press for his views on legal developments in the technology sphere.
Paul has extensive experience of advising in relation to commercial contracts, outsourcing arrangements, complex IT and telecoms projects and the disputes that can arise from these. Paul is especially known for providing level-headed, commercial advice in pressured environments, as well as his personal interest in technology and technological developments.
He lectures regularly in Asia, most recently on the topics of restrictive covenants, cyber security cloud computing, data protection and social media.
