Paul leads the communications channels at Sport England – the public body charged with getting the nation active. As the editor in chief of the London 2012 Olympic legacy email database, he is responsible for opening up opportunities to watch, play and volunteer in sport. He has secured low-cost tickets to major domestic events, giving more people across the UK the chance to get involved. One of Paul’s proudest achievements is championing digital accessibility across Sport England’s B2B and consumer channels, most notably the Sport England website which is now AA rated. One of Paul’s new tasks is to establish a new strategy for how digital channels can be used to drive behaviour change, and supporting sport bodies to create and use digital content that works for their audiences.
