Padraic Connelly is the Artistic Director of ComedySportz Chicago and the CSz Theater, and has been performing in Chicago for 15 years.
Aside from his work teaching improvisation at the CSz Theater and The iO Theater, Padraic has conducted workshops and training for RJ Reynolds, BP, EMC², AstraZeneca, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, and dozens of other clients. He also conducts workshops and performance master classes for undergraduate and graduate programs for universities in the Midwest and Southeast United States, focusing on confidence, teamwork, trust, and collaboration.
As a writer, Padraic has been a creative lead and writer for events and conferences held by Bridgestone Group, AbbVie Humira, ALIS, InVision Communications, Verizon Wireless, University of Chicago, and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
Padraic has spent the last 12 years performing around the country with the long-running hit show Whirled News Tonight, and has been a member of the ComedySportz Chicago roster since 2012. He has performed on countless stages around the world, from the Edinburgh to New York to the middle of the ocean on the world's largest cruise ship in Hairspray: The Musical.
