Paddy is equipped with research skills, a service perspective and a designer’s approach. Fundamentally interested in human behaviour, Paddy is motivated to build better products and experiences that are inspired by real stories from real people.
Paddy was employed by travel and hospitality company onefinestay to help them understand more about their customers. He established a company wide culture of customer centricity to steer evolution. Paddy produced onefinestay’s first guest and host segmentations. He went on to develop storyboards and training materials for customer facing staff at all levels.
Prior to onefinestay, Paddy worked as a Design Researcher for IDEO London. Owning the user research within interdisciplinary teams, he worked for a variety of clients developing physical, digital and experiential products. Clients included Barclays, San Miguel, British Gypsum, Sara Lee, PwC, Conagra, IKEA, Jamie Oliver Food Foundation and V&A.
Paddy started his professional career designing pedestrian wayfinding systems for cities, including London and Vancouver. He went on to join Engine Service Design, working on projects with E.on energy and Eurostar. Paddy has also consulted for ReD Associates in New York, live|work and Tribal DDB in London, for clients including Samsung, Intel, TfL, Pernot Ricard and Guinness.
