Postdoctoral Research Associate, UCL Institute for Global Prosperity

Onya works at the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. She works with a team of researchers on an ESRC funded Transformative research project, which traces how sustainable entrepreneurs develop their business models through creative interactions within London’s collaborative spaces. Prior to that she was based in Edinburgh where she completed a PhD in Management degree from the University of Edinburgh Business School. During the PhD, she taught introduction to Business and International Business. She has also taught MSc students courses in Global Prosperity & Transformative Entrepreneurship and Problem–Solving for Global Prosperity.
In addition to studying collaborative spaces, Onya’s expertise and research interests lie in the areas of Strategy formation; Strategy-as- practice; Collective creativity; Business models; Social entrepreneurship and innovation.
