Olivia Blute currently works as an Associate Data Scientist for 0ptimus Consulting, a political and commercial data consultant firm in DC. Prior to this, Olivia worked for two summers as an intern at 0ptimus, strengthening her programming and machine learning skills alongside the 2016 election campaigns. While at Wake Forest University, Olivia applied her academic and work experiences to build consumer and voter targeting models to help companies and campaigns more efficiently target relevant individuals, from executing surveys nationwide to producing post-study results and visualizations. In her work, Olivia most enjoys the chance to translate statistical findings in ways so that an everyday person can understand the process and analysis. In her free time, you can find Olivia enjoying time with family, eating good food, and practicing yoga.
