    Octavius Terry-Sims is the CEO and Co-Founder of men’s ready-to-wear brand, GROOM (Gentlemen’s Ready-To-Wear Originals by Octavius Marsion). He has created designs for iconic celebrities from the world of music, entertainment and sports including Ray J, The Game, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Nick Cannon, Tamar Braxton and Matt Barnes just name a few. Octavius’ designs have been seen on the red carpets of the Academy Awards, the Grammys, The American Music Awards, and a multitude of other award ceremonies and celebrity weddings. An Atlanta native, Mr. Terry-Sims has also had successful careers as a singer/songwriter, Olympic track hopeful as member of both the 1995 and 1997 Track and Field World Championships, and business executive at several Fortune 500 companies including Wells Fargo. After eleven years in corporate America, Octavius made the life-changing decision to dedicate his life to pursuing his dream of building his fashion empire. Terry-Sims is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and has two Fashion Design degrees from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his husband and business partner, world renowned film director and choreographer Jamal Terry-Sims in which the two got married in front of 30 million viewers at the 2014 Grammy Awards during the live Macklemore and Madonna performance of "Same Love" by Queen Latifah in their own custom designed tailcoat tuxedos, which ultimately started his apparel company.
