Nigel has extensive experience in advising clients on digital strategy, developing training programmes, facilitating workshops and delivering digital transformation projects. As well as training in both the Google and Sainsbury’s & Argos marketing transformation programmes, he has also been a practitioner working within clients and ad agencies.
Over his career he has had plenty of experience working with businesses that are complex and need to be agile. Starting in agencies mostly within WPP, he managed the media strategy for clients such as Amex, Nestle, Kellogg’s, Boots, Rolex and IBM – and set up from scratch the digital departments at J Walter Thompson and Mindshare.
On the client side, he helped develop Barclays’ global media and digital marketing strategy as part of its One Barclays transformation team. As head of global planning at Jaguar's in-house agency (Spark44), he was involved in the development of the global re-positioning of the Jaguar brand and the launch of key models such as the F-TYPE.
Nigel is an avid consumer of news and enjoys researching. His passion for Southampton Football Club never dies, nor does his love of good books, walking his eccentric dog or travelling the world.
