    Nick DeJesus is a self-taught front end developer with a strong passion for building products and teaching. His coding journey started at the part-time FEWD course at General Assembly where he learned the fundamentals of front end development. Nick is a major advocate for personal projects and loves planning and building them from scratch. As a React Native enthusiast, he built a mobile app called T7 Chicken for a gaming community with over 30,000 users and a 4.5 star rating. Right now he's working on a new version called T7 Chicken Plus. He currently works at the Resilient Coders bootcamp as their Expert In Residence, where he teaches underrepresented people how to code. When he's not teaching or working on React Native apps, he's traveling to gaming tournaments and creating video content.
