Nicholas Sykes is the Principal Partner of West Point Capital LLC, leveraging his technology, strategy, and operations experience to advise growing companies on investments, business development and strategic execution. Since starting West Point Capital LLC in 2012, to make investments in promising opportunities, Nicholas has worked with professionals in venture capital, private equity and hedge fund firms.
Nicholas is currently Vice President of Business Strategy at CiBO Technologies. In this role, he manages the expansion, scaling and improvement of the processes comprising the CiBO's technology platform. Before working at CiBO Technologies, Nicholas launched mission critical projects across Finance, Business Operations and Strategy at Palantir Technologies in Palo Alto, CA. This experience gave him exposure to multiple areas of technology finance. Prior to this, Nicholas worked at Bridgewater Associates and JP Morgan.
He is actively involved in Sponsors for Education Opportunities, Code2040, Cultivating Aspiring Leaders and other civic institutions. Nicholas earned degrees from Stanford University, Graduate School of Business and Florida A&M University, School of Business and Industry.
He lives in the Greater Washington DC area with his wife.
