Nellie is passionate about building businesses from scratch and bringing brands to Asia.
Having worked in the content-related industry for over 20 years, of which the last decade has been dedicated to digital and social. Nellie advises companies on how to successfully apply digital and social solutions to their everyday operations and drive business.
Prior to going digital, the earlier part of her career was spent with the more traditional media outlets both print and television; the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Time Inc., MediaCorp, and she started my career with Hong Kong’s leading English language newspaper, the South China Morning Post.
In 2012 Nellie joined LinkedIn to lead the Marketing Solutions business for North Asia, and she was entrusted to head up the Hong Kong office. Building the office from 2 people to presently approaching 70. In 2013, her role expanded as she led the new Marketing Solutions business across both North Asia and Southeast Asia for just over 3 years.
Currently, Nellie is Marketing Chair of the Hong Kong Sub-Committee for The Marketing Society. Here she will be leading a group of senior marketers in Hong Kong by donating our marketing expertise to make a real impact to the local charity community.
