I am a Full-Stack Developer with a background in social work, passionately combining technology with education. My journey into software engineering was driven by my desire to integrate my social advocacy with my growing interest in coding, transforming a hobby into a deep-seated passion. This led me to General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive program, where I discovered the synergies between social work problem-solving and software development, prompting a pivotal career shift.
In my teaching endeavours, I have been guiding career changers, covering technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS, and nurturing the next generation of tech innovators. My enthusiasm for teaching goes hand in hand with my work in the industry, where I've led R&D initiatives and designed solutions across the tech stack for startups focused on social good. My career change journey is all about my passion for combining tech with actions that genuinely make a difference, showcasing the incredible influence that learning software engineering has on the world.
