Nathan Howat is the Vice President of Blue Mountain Electric, Inc. based in Oak Harbor, Washington. The company works almost exclusively on Federal government projects, mostly on naval installations in the Puget Sound. Nathan is a third-generation electrician. After working for various contractors in Washington State, Nathan and his father Don Howat, started the company in 2006. Nathan’s first passion was technology, which he majored in at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington. When the opportunity to start the business presented itself with Don, he quickly found that he could apply his tech training to the construction industry as well. Today BME Inc. leads the way on many fronts with the use of technology in construction.
