My name is Natalie Hawkins, I am a full-time junior designer and animator at And/Or, a small creative production studio based in Brooklyn. I studied design at MICA, where I made a lot of work about my identity as a bi-racial woman. After graduating to 2019, I moved to Brooklyn where I have lived for the past year. I am currently co-organizing Design for Black Lives, a group of almost 4,000 creatives offering pro bono work for organizers, nonprofits seeking to educate or provide resources to minority communities, black small businesses, and black individuals. Design for Black Lives also hopes to foster a community of anti-racism within the graphic design world.
