    Mukai is a software engineer recruiter in Boulder, CO who has been with Google for three and a half years. Before that, Mukai worked at a startup where he advised developer bootcamp graduates on next steps in their career. Mukai was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri where he attended the University of Missouri. Mukai has helped staff Technical Program Managers and hardware engineers, as well as software engineers for YouTube and Google Seattle. Outside of his core role, Mukai is one of the co-founders and co-leads for the Black Googler Network, BLD Chapter, is a DEI Champion for the Google America's SWE recruiting team, and one of the co-founders and leads for BLERD, which is a company agnostic resource group for black professionals in tech in Colorado.
