Monique Woodard

Monique Woodard is a Venture Partner at 500 Startups. She is also co-founder and Executive Director of Black Founders -- a national organization whose mission is to increase the number of successful black entrepreneurs in tech. Previously, Monique served as one of the first Innovation Fellows for the City of San Francisco where she worked on the city’s innovation agenda, including open data and municipal broadband access. She has worked with cities to help them cultivate startup ecosystems and use technology to innovate workforce and other civic services.
