    Engineering Manager, Handshake

    Denver

Monique "KiKi" Mitchell takes a growth-mindset to life and her career. As a later-in-life transition to tech, she’s had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions ranging from the transit algorithm at MapQuest, traveling the US as a consultant for ThoughtWorks, and her current role of building out the Denver Office as an Engineering Manager for Handshake (joinhandshake.com). A mentor and advocate for underrepresented groups in tech, she’s so happy to spend her weekdays working for a company whose mission aligns with her personal values. On the weekends she likes to step away from the computer and feed her horsey, "Bob," as many carrots as he desires.
