Molly Moran

Molly is a design strategist who currently leads the Executive Secretariat’s Research & Design Center at the State Department. She designs efficient systems that make sense to human beings, and moves institutions from print-based to digital systems. Molly has designed sites and apps that are used by the Department's top leaders, including the Secretary of State. Before that, Molly spent a year working on websites for PBS.

Molly has a masters in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University. She and her husband live with their dog and cat in a 300-year-old house in southern Maryland. She can do a headstand on a horse and perform tricks on the flying trapeze.
