Creator, Seminar Series on "Taking Care of #1"

Chicago

After paying off over 200k in graduate student loan debt and building a career in management consulting, real estate and sales operations, Miriam turned her attention to mentoring others. She noticed that folks, especially women and minorities, are not properly educated on topics so pertinent to their long term prosperity and success. So she decided to dedicate her next career to changing that.

Miriam now gives seminars to universities and corporations. In her presentation series, "Taking Care of #1", Miriam tackles topics such as taking control of your finances, saving for retirement, restructuring and paying down student loan debt, talking to your manager about money and promotion, increasing your workplace EQ, and considerations in renting vs buying. Miriam is an educator, not because she has a degree in education (she has a law and business degree), but because she's spent her career in corporate America learning it the hard way, and then advocating for others, sharing her successes and missteps along the way.
