Mike is a lifelong entrepreneur. From a snow shoveling business in 5th grade to a software company in high school, he knew from a young age his destiny was building companies. He moved to Atlanta in 2005 and worked his way up the corporate ladder at CipherTrust, Securiant, and Impulse Marketing. Like most entrepreneurs, he realized the corporate life wasn’t for him.
In 2013 he founded Synapp.io with Rick Copeland, an idea he originally pitched at Atlanta Startup Weekend in November 2012. As graduates of the Flashpoint program at Georgia Tech, the startup was awarded the "unsexiest startup of 2013" title by Dave McClure and 500Startups. Synapp.io builds software and APIs for email service providers and email marketers to help prevent debilitating deliverability issues.
Mike is happily married to his childhood crush, Anca, and has 2 beautiful daughters. They spend their time in between Atlanta, GA and their home in Romania.
