Miguel Lee embodies a unique convergence of visual storytelling and academia as Creative Director at Midnight Sherpa, a boutique studio he co-founded in 2015. Through his career-long devotion to design—both as a educator and a creative—he has yielded an expansive range of mixed-media film and television work spanning traditional commercials, branded experiences, title design, and interactive. Clients include Apple, Audi, CBS, Disney, Dolby Laboratories, DreamWorks Animation, Google, Hasbro, HBO, Hewlett-Packard, Mercedes-Benz, Marvel, NBC/Universal, NFL Network, Nike, NVIDIA, Riot Games, Toyota, and Warner Brothers.
Lee’s career trajectory is highlighted by creative and design positions at notable companies, including Logan, Roger, Colourmovie, and most recently, as Creative Director at Imaginary Forces. A regular lecturer, he is an adjunct professor of Motion Design at his alma mater, the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, has taught at the Otis College of Art and Design, and has presented talks at Siggraph.
