    Mick Byrne

    Co-founder, We Make Apps

    Melbourne

After more than 10 years working in digital agencies, Mick started We Make Apps in 2010 with a focus on building high quality, great looking apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Since then, We Make Apps has created apps for major brands and organisations, such as ESPN, Witchery and the City of Sydney, and helped create brand new apps for a number of successful start ups. Their Sydney Food Trucks app was selected by Apple in their 'Best of 2012' list in the 'Disruptive Services' category and can be found on all demo iPhones in Apple stores to this day.

Mick is an accomplished app developer in his own right, but spends much of his time working with others to turn their 'great idea for an app' into a concrete, functioning and, most importantly, viable product that can really disrupt a marketplace. He believes in always putting the user's needs ahead of the technology and creating apps that are a joy to use.
