Michelle Higelin is the Executive Director of ActionAid Australia, a global organisation working for women's rights and an end to poverty and injustice. She is the former Deputy General Secretary of one of the largest women’s movement globally, the World YWCA and has served on global advisory groups to the United Nations Population Fund and the World Food Programme. Michelle currently serves as a Co-Chair of Australian Progress.
