An earnest polymath, artist and designer, Michael Rurka leads the design team at Nurx: a healthcare startup involved in sexual health by way of partnerships and improving access to essential medications such as birth control and Truvada for PrEP. Prior to Nurx, he's worked as Everything Designer for a slew of startups in Canada before serendipitously turning up in the Bay. He’s passionate about ethical design, and the empowerment of everyone’s potential to live a fulfilling life. In his off time, Rurka paints abstract elephants, reads books and vibes out to Travis Scott.
