Michael Koclęga

Michael Koclęga brings 10+ years of experience in the space of data analytics, mostly forged in the fast pace world of management consultancy. His career has spanned 3 relocations between Melbourne, Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur.

From managing the upkeep of several market intelligence data warehouses, to assisting with market studies in strategic port infrastructure expansion projects, Mike’s corporate career culminated with the setup and establishment of a new offshore data analytics team in Malaysia. In his managerial role he was responsible for hiring and training his team of mostly fresh non-IT graduates or those new to the industry, to be very capable professionals in the field of data analytics.

In 2018 Mike decided to leave the corporate world to switch focus on his new interest in electronic music production and DJing. Mike has a Computer Science Degree from RMIT Melbourne, and was a former logistics officer in the Australian Army Reserve.

When Mike is not working he tries to start his day with some meditation, channels his aggression in a healthy manner with kickboxing, learns to surrender to the unknown and discomfort with Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has fun by DJing, throwing parties and making weird noises with synthesisers and computers in his studio.
