Melonie Tharpe is the Programs & Operations Director for the Guild, an ethical real estate company focused on co-living and affordable spaces. For the past four years, she helped grow the programs and projects of the Center for Civic Innovation in Atlanta -- an organization that topped $1M in revenue and landed a spot on Echoing Green’s list of Fellows in its first three years. Previously as a program manager at Sustainable Atlanta, she spearheaded an effort to bring the internationally recognized EcoDistricts program of sustainable development to Atlanta-area communities. She is passionate about small businesses, activists, and others that call our communities home, spending time volunteering and organizing with them whenever she can. Melonie has a Masters in Public Administration & Nonprofit Management from George Mason University and a BA in Anthropology and Political Science from Georgia State University.
