Melissa Hines

Melissa Hines is an award-winning graphic designer with a background in media and nonprofit communications. Born and raised in Boston, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. Melissa is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices to build an inclusive community.
Currently, Melissa is Design Director at Her Campus Media, the #1 media company for college women. She leads a team of designers, nerds out while developing cross-departmental systems, and creates empowering designs. Melissa is also the Co-Director of Diversity & Inclusion for AIGA Boston. As a board member, her focus is to support the organization's efforts to create and implement a community-specific diversity and inclusion strategy.
