Mel Abe (she/her) is a senior-level consumer marketer with over a decade of experience working with some of our time's most recognizable, community-driven brands. She has most notably spent the past seven years with Airbnb and is now on contract with Instagram for Businesses in brand marketing for small businesses.
She is passionate about self-actualization through entrepreneurship, focusing on empowering BIPOC and women-owned businesses and offering business consulting services to small businesses.
Mel leads with empathy; she is a meditation teacher and believes in people-first fostering an environment of psychological safety for teams to bring their "whole selves" to their work. She is originally from Toronto, Canada, and is currently living in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and is passionate about natural wine.
