Melanie is a boundary spanner–working across public, social, and corporate design sectors on program, service, and strategy design projects globally. Currently, she is a Creative Lead at Dalberg Design where she likes to apply design to social challenges. She’s worked on everything from women-controlled sexual and reproductive health products with USAID, to resilient city planning with Rockefeller, to designing new school models with Chicago Public Schools. She studied social policy and organizational strategy at Northwestern University and service design at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. She geeks out about facilitation, organizational culture, and active transit.
