Melani Carter is a Sports Content Producer and Co-Founder at MADE for the W, a platform providing exclusive access to women’s sports, lifestyle and sneaker culture. Her first start in the sports industry began in college as an intern for the 2 Live Stews at 790 the zone, an Atlanta-based radio station. Through networking, she was able to secure a job with the Atlanta Falcons as a supervisor in corporate partnerships and suites. Upon graduating college, Melani landed a job as an NBA Broadcast Operator for NBA League Pass and NBATV at Turner Broadcasting. Now, as a full-time entrepreneur, her mission is to empower women who want to be seen and heard in sports media. She believes in creating authentic content and telling positive stories that validate athletes in ways they feel comfortable to share with the world.
