Megan McCann, President and Founder of McCann Partners, is an established IT recruitment and technology services leader in Greater Chicago. She is known for building and leading highly successful IT services firms and for the work she does to advance diversity and cultivate talent across the technology industry. In the course of a nearly two-decade career, Megan co-founded and helped build Geneva Technical Services (GTS) and was a strategic force in growing SelecTech — both premier IT recruitment firms. Megan’s responsibilities at each organization spanned every aspect of business development, management, client service, P&L oversight and solution design and execution. It was extensive and invaluable business management and recruiting experience, which prepared Megan well for her latest endeavor: launching and leading the Chicago-based McCann Partners. Founded in 2011, McCann Partners has already become a trusted talent acquisition partner to technology and business leaders across a variety of industries and is known for a hands-on and highly collaborative approach to meeting the IT talent needs of its clients. Passionate about attracting, retaining and advancing women in technology, Megan co-founded ARA -- a national organization promoting women in technology through mentorship, networking and open discussion. Megan was named to the 2015 TechWeek100 list, recognizing her significant impact on technology and innovation in Chicago, as well as BlueSky Innovation's Vault, featuring 100 of Chicago’s most compelling innovators and entrepreneurs. Megan has a deep commitment to giving back to the local community, especially to organizations supporting young people and big dreamers. She has been actively involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and i.c.stars, an organization dedicated to grooming future business and technology leaders where she serves as Board Member and Vice Chair of the Events Committee, as well as Strategic Advisor to their staffing services business line.
