Atlanta
Megan Johnson is an attorney with over seven years of experience in general business and corporate law. Through her practice experience at a large Atlanta law firm and as Program Director of the Fulton County Business Court, a specialized court adjudicating high-dollar, complex, commercial and business litigation, she has counseled judges and corporate clients on all aspects of business and complex commercial law, as well as entity formation, corporate governance, contract drafting and capital strategy.
Most recently, she has advocated for the modernization of state securities laws to expand private equity markets at the local level for the benefit of non-accredited investors and small businesses. She serves as co-founder and CEO of SparkMarket, a Georgia based platform that facilitates local investment offerings open to everyday investors.
Megan was accepted as a Barrister with the Bleckley Inn of Courts in 2013. She received her J.D. magna cum laude at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as student materials editor of the Tennessee Law Review. Megan received her B.A. magna cum laude in political science at East Tennessee State University.
