Never satisfied with the status quo, Meg McKeen, a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and licensed independent insurance agent, launched Adjunct Advisors LLC to change the way entrepreneurs and business owners navigate the process of building their business insurance program, and to assist early-career insurance professionals find their own unique voice in an industry that is ripe for change.

With 20 years of experience on both the insurance carrier and independent agency sides of the business, Meg leverages her strong technical background, keen interpersonal skills and leadership acumen in every interaction with her clients - replacing fear and confusion with confidence.

Through one-hour educational workshops, Meg works with entrepreneurs and business owners to learn the ins and outs of the insurance marketplace - but the magic is in the questions she fields from new business owners during the Q&A time at the end.

Early career insurance sales professionals gain mentorship support through the innovative development program, BEGIN. This robust solution leverages Meg’s extensive experience in working both as an underwriter and agent herself - helping producers see success more quickly.

A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and resident of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, when she’s not helping business professionals navigate the insurance world, you can find Meg putting the "practice" into yoga practice, searching for the best vegan burger, or enjoying live music and the wonder that is Chicago’s lakefront.
