Since graduating from the UXDI Immersive program in Seattle, Meg Durcan joined the company Getaround, a carsharing platform that enables people to share their car or rent a car from an app. Many of the UX principles gained from GA have informed her marketing strategy when it came to launching in San Diego last November. Meg is working on an initiative called the Galgetters Network, in which Getaround will seek to develop strategic partnerships with companies that encourage representation and diversity in the workplace.

Prior to Getaround, Meg worked for the Foreign Agricultural Service in Washington, D.C. implementing international exchange programs for foreign buyers interested in U.S. products.
