Max works as an attorney for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, focused primarily on enforcement of federal environmental laws in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and the Dakotas. Previously, Max served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador for three years, working on sustainable agriculture and environmental education projects in rural communities. Max earned a JD from George Washington University Law School, where he co-authored a book chapter on the legal challenges related to the siting of wind farms and transmission lines.
