Mavis E. Hicks is the Founder and Artisan behind the natural skincare and wellness brand Beauty N Simplicity. The California native's entrepreneurial journey began when she moved to New England to attend Johnson & Wales University where she earned degrees in Baking & Pastry Arts and Food Service Management.

It wasn't until years later, career fatigue, and the frustration of sourcing natural products to manage her challenges with eczema did the idea of creating her own line present itself. Utilizing her culinary skills and background she began developing and selling her signature products.
