Matthew Breau is currently an associate at Handel Architects, and leads their Computation Design Group. Matthew is a graduate of NJIT’s Bachelor of Architecture Program, and blogs about computational design, with a focus on applying concepts from other branches of computer science.

Matthew’s passion for coding borders on the evangelical; ranging from researching new technologies, to writing bespoke scripts, to teaching Grasshopper, C#, and Dynamo to anyone interested in learning. Matthew feels strongly that the next big evolution of the AEC field will be driven by the democratization of code, giving designers the ability to create our own tools once more.
