    Matt Zymet has worked at the intersection of technology and storytelling for over 20 years, producing games and gamified digital experiences for major brands and media outlets. His Emmy and multi-award-winning work has helped brands like National Geographic, Discovery Communications, Black Entertainment Television, M&M Mars, Mercedes, and IBM tell their stories. Most recently, Zymet lead National Geographic's push into Virtual Reality, producing over 40 Cinematic VR short films, including "The Protectors", directed by Academy-Award winner Kathryn Bigelow. Recently he collaborated with NASA to oversee first-time production of true 3D VR on-board the International Space Station. His VR work recently won the 2018 Webby Award for Best Cinematic VR and has also won awards at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Fest and VR Fest 2018. Prior to his work in Immersive Media at Nat Geo, Zymet oversaw digital content and strategy for the National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo WILD for 10 years, leading a team of digital producers in creating award-winning campaigns and digital extensions for National Geographic documentaries, shows and series.
