Matt hails from London with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, and is mostly self-taught in the way of Ruby on Rails. He's worked for Bloomberg L.P in London (from 2006 until 2013) as a Financial Applications Programmer ( with extensive knowledge in C++, Javascript, Python, Unix) and since moving to Australia, has been writing Commercial Web Applications in Rails for about a year with Fairfax Digital Media, and JobReady Solutions. Matt loves Ruby, Code School, Rails Casts, GA and working on personal projects. Outside of the programming sphere, Matt is also passionate about skydiving and tunnel flying, speed flying, climbing and surfing - a lot of loves, not a lot of spare time...
