    Massimo is a serial entrepreneur, experienced maker, software engineer and hacker. He is also a Y Combinator and TechStars alumnus and mentor to numerous startups. In 2007, Massimo built DomainsBot, a SaaS dedicated to increasing domain name registrations on customer websites. At DomainsBot, he drove the R&D used today by every premier domain registrar worldwide (Godaddy, Register.com, Enom, etc.). 10% of domain names registered worldwide are suggested by the DomainsBot service. After selling DomainsBot in 2012, he founded Staq.io as CEO, with the goal of disrupting Big Data by providing developers with easy to use tools. Among 600 applicants the company was selected by Techstars, and while taking part of the program it pivoted to focus on the video game industry. In 2013, PlayHaven acquired Staq.io to utilize its technology as a core component of PlayHaven’s "business engine for games". At PlayHaven (now Upsight) Massimo's team was handling data of more than 300M monthly active users (more than 15B events per day). Massimo’s latest venture, as CTO of Eight, will affect the lives of more than a billion people.
