Marshall Miller is a Director of Product at Civis Analytics, where he leads product management for Civis Platform, a cloud-based data science platform for data scientists who want to scale up their work and put it into the hands of decision makers. Marshall’s goal is to build the platform that allows the world's data scientists to make transformative impacts on their organizations, and works with engineers, designers, and Civis's own data scientists to make it happen.
A data scientist by training, Marshall was previously Director of Analytics at Catalist, a data and analytics company serving progressive campaigns and non-profits. Marshall started in political technology on Obama for America in 2007 and 2008, where he helped guide voter targeting in multiple battleground states. Marshall graduated from Northwestern University from the Mathematical Methods in Social Sciences program.
