Marriel is a designer and researcher with a strong business background and a proven track record of successfully helping organisations design, build and launch human-centred products and services.
Marriel has 10 years of design and product management experience gained working across a wide range of companies from large multinationals to early stage start-ups. She has extensive experience in developing and delivering innovation programs with an emphasis on building design thinking capabilities and embedding ways of working based on agile and lean startup methodologies.
Marriel has worked both client side and in consulting on a diverse range of projects and propositions for brands such as Westpac, ANZ, CBA, Facebook, Shell, HSBC and Unidays. A career highlight for Marriel was leading a global, multidisciplinary design team that delivered the digital transformation of Shell’s global $19bn ECommerce platform, Shell Markethub.
Marriel is also a certified Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner, and holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sydney.
