    Mark Ulriksen is a San Francisco-based artist and illustrator best known for his work for The New Yorker, where he has been a regular contributor since 1993, with over 60 covers to his credit.

    Mark has created murals for United Airlines and the Chicago Bears, covered the 2008 Masters and 2015 British Open for Golf Digest and is the recipient of numerous awards, including multiple Gold and Silver medals from the NY Society of Illustrators. He recently wrote and illustrated his first book, Dogs Rule Nonchalantly, about his love for man’s best friend. He has been the regular illustrator for SFJAZZ , shows his gouache and acrylic paintings at Modernism Gallery and recently began illustrating digitally. Mark began his career as a graphic designer and was an art director at SF Focus magazine for eight years before going freelance at the age of 37.
