Marjorie is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a contributing author to the Six Sigma Performance Handbook, and in 2009, she accepted the inaugural Six Sigma Hall of Fame Award on behalf of her late father, Bill Smith, for his foundational Six Sigma work at Motorola in the 1980s.
