Marcelo Hofmeister
Marcelo brings over 12 years' experience working with data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics, in a wide variety of industries (including telecommunications, financial services and government), with all sorts of technologies and tools.
Originally from Brazil, Marcelo immigrated to Australia in 2011 and has since worked with companies such as Accenture, Macquarie Bank, Oakton, DWS and Sydney Trains, where he currently works. His current passions are data science and data visualisation.
When not at work or thinking about data, Marcelo loves spending time with his wife and kids, cycling, swimming, volunteering as a surf lifesaver and watching movies. He is also the assistant coach of his son's soccer team, whom he hopes one day will make it to the Socceroos!
