Mallikarjun Pillala Marri

I have been in the Data Science profession since 2015. After becoming a software engineer in 2014, I started off by implementing a predictive algorithm in the commodity trading domain which motivated me to further advance my knowledge and skills in machine learning. Eventually, I completed my masters from National University of Singapore with a degree in a specialized data science field and haven't looked back since. My main domain expertise now is in marketing analytics and I have worked on various problems like recommendation engines, audience targeting, demand forecasting, NLP, and computer vision. Being hands-on in implementing hyper-scale data science solutions, I have had the opportunity to work on some amazing tech stacks like python/R programming, relational and non-relational databases, big data, visualization tools, and cloud platforms while fine-polishing my business and soft skills.

With education playing the most important part in my career success, I started training and coaching students and professionals of various age groups in data science in 2017. Being an educator is something I deeply love and it gives me immense satisfaction for giving back to the community and enabling more people to follow the path that leads to amazing opportunities in data analytics.
