    Maliha Tariq is currently a Data Scientist at TBWA\Chiat\Day, a creative advertising agency in New York City, most famously known for branding a number of different clients such as Apple, Hilton, TD Bank, Adidas, Nissan, Mayo Clinic and Mountain Dew. In her role at TBWA, she uses data and analytics in creative ways to help provide insight to strategy and support creative work. Prior to her role at TBWA, she studied Quantitative Methods with a focus in Data Science at Columbia University. While in graduate school, she taught workshops and labs in quantitative research design, statistics and programming to both undergraduate and graduate students. Before graduate school, she worked in public health policy research and development at the Yale Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation. She also has a BA from Barnard College at Columbia University where she majored in Middle Eastern Studies and Premedical Sciences. When she's not geeking out with some data, she enjoys reading, doodling, and playing board games.
